KYLIE WATKINS

Dr. Kylie Watkins

CHIROPRACTOR

Dr. Kylie Watkins received her Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). Prior to attending CMCC, she earned a Bachelor of Kinesiology and Health Science from York University. During her childhood and adolescence, Dr. Watkins played competitive hockey – in other words, she’s never been a stranger to injuries. Her life-long enthusiasm for sports influenced her decision to pursue a career as a chiropractic practitioner.

Dr. Watkins takes a holistic approach when treating patients, preferring to use the bigger picture to determine the root causes of pain and develop a recovery plan. She is trained to use techniques such as soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, and spinal and extremity manipulation/mobilization. During her schooling, Dr. Watkins also received training in the GLA:D and PEAK protocols for treating osteoarthritis, spinal stenosis, and upper limb peripheral nerve injuries such as nerve entrapments and medical acupuncture from McMaster University.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Watkins spends her time exploring local trails, gardening, playing ultimate frisbee or reading a good book.
