A concussion is a form of brain injury caused by a direct or indirect blow or a jolt to the head, face or jaw. A concussion can change the way your brain functions as an injury to the brain can change the way your brain functions. Just because you hit your head does not mean you have suffered a concussion, in fact even if you have a headache after hitting your head does not automatically mean you have a concussion. The effects of most concussions are usually temporary, symptoms can include:

- Balance and walking changes
